The Kindness Edit
Let’s be honest: life can get a little… much. Between work, errands, emails, approximately 47 things on the to-do list, and trying to remember whether you actually drank enough water today, it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday hustle.
That’s why I’ve always loved the little things — especially when it comes to kindness. And no, I’m not talking about grand gestures that require a perfectly planned movie montage. Sometimes kindness is as simple as checking in on a friend, letting someone go ahead of you in line, leaving a thoughtful note, or giving yourself a little grace when you need it.
For me, kindness is one of those things that doesn’t have to be complicated to make a difference. A small act can brighten someone’s day, make a stranger smile, or remind you that there’s still plenty of good happening around you.
So, in the spirit of doing a little more good and spreading a little more joy, I created The Kindness Edit — a simple 7-day challenge filled with small acts of kindness you can weave into your everyday life.
Each day comes with one simple idea to try. Some might take a little planning, while others can be done in a matter of minutes. And because I’m a firm believer that life doesn’t need more unnecessary rules, there’s no pressure to follow everything exactly as written.
Like one idea more than another? Do it again. Want to switch it up? Go for it. Feel inspired to come up with your own? Even better.
The goal isn’t to be perfectly kind for seven days straight — because, well, we’re human. It’s simply about slowing down, being a little more thoughtful, and seeing how one small act of kindness can make someone’s day (including your own) a little brighter.

I love these little tips! So simple and so sweet!
Thank you so much! Glad you loved them 🙂
These are great tips! I might actually go through my closet and donate some clothes. Frees up space for more and hopefully gives the less fortunate something they’ll like!
Thanks so much! I’m so happy this inspired you!
It’s so freeing and fulling to do, and I always get excited when I see the bags of stuff to give away!
